Don Goldberg

Don Goldberg - CEO

Donald Goldberg has a history of over 22 years of experience in Business Management Consulting in the technology industry. As one of the initial Managing Partners, Don has been responsible for developing the initial infrastructure and business methodology that has assisted ConsultNet in its success through changing economies. Don is very active in the Utah community where he is a member of the Utah Technology Council and Mountain West Capital Network.
Spencer Shaffer

Spencer Shaffer - President

A recognized veteran of the technology staffing industry of nearly 15 years, Spencer Shaffer joined ConsultNet in 1998. Spencer has served in many capacities, often simultaneously, from Technical Recruiter, Account Executive and Area Vice President. Spencer currently serves as the President of ConsultNet, directing the day-to-day operations and future growth of the Company.

Spencer resides in Salt Lake City, Utah where he is actively involved in local charities, youth programs and is an active member of the Utah Chapter of Young President's Organization (YPO). Spencer's diverse knowledge of the technology staffing industry has enabled him to understand and work closely with clients, assisting them in meeting their technology staffing initiatives.
Mike Malan

Mike Malan, MBA, CPA - Chief Financial Officer

Mike Malan joined ConsultNet in 2006 and brings to the company over 24 years of experience with high growth technology and other companies. As Chief Financial Officer for several high growth technology and retail companies, Mike brings a depth of experience in accounting, finance, human resources and managing rapid growth. Mike graduated from the University of Utah with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Accounting and Finance and an MBA.
Meredith Kaley

Meredith Kaley - Vice President of Recruiting

With more than 10 years of experience at ConsultNet, Meredith was part of the original ConsultNet staff. In her current role as Vice President of Recruiting, she oversees the recruiting staff and shares her knowledge and enthusiasm with new recruiters as they join the company nationwide. Meredith has a bachelor's degree in Business Management from the University of Cincinnati and more than 13 years of IT staffing experience.
Dave Jones

Dave Jones - Vice President of Utah Sales

A top-producing leader in the IT staffing industry, Dave has over 12 years of professional sales experience, including more than eight years in the staffing industry. Dave started with ConsultNet in 1999 as an Account Executive. Through hard work, dedication, and consistent high rankings as a top producer, Dave has been able to work his way into several different responsibilities and titles within the organization. Before joining ConsultNet, Dave spent a short time in physician staffing and several years in the sales and service arena for a medical laser company in Salt Lake City, Utah. Dave is an avid hunter and fisherman who enjoys spending his spare time in the outdoors and with his wife and children.
Kristen Menzel

Kristen Menzel - Director of Colorado Recruiting

Kristen Menzel is the Director of Colorado Recruiting, with 7 years experience recruiting in the IT arena. She has been with ConsultNet for over 6 years, currently managing and mentoring a staff of 5 recruiters, in addition to recruiting for technical positions. She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with a BS in Marketing. She has been residing in Colorado since 1998, and is an active member of the Colorado Technical Recruiter's Network. Kristen enjoys hiking and camping, and spending time with her family and friends.
Joseph Miller

Joseph Miller - Director of Business Operations, California

Joseph Miller has 14 years of progressive experience in the technology consulting industry. He has partnered with both Mid-Cap and Fortune 500 companies to develop comprehensive human capital management strategies. He has specialized in contingent human capital planning focusing on talent acquisition, development, and retention. Joseph is personally committed to the success of his clients, colleagues, and business partners. He is always looking for ways to invest in those around him. He also has a keen interest in technology, primarily in how technology can enable both individuals and organizations to effectively collaborate and share knowledge for their competitive advantage. Joseph is a native of California and holds a Bachelor of Science from California State Polytechnic University. He enjoys family time with his wife and three children. His hobbies include skiing and fishing.
Steve Stinson

Steve Stinson - Director of Business Operations, Texas

Steve Stinson is in his 26th year in the IT industry, with 17 years specifically in the North Texas IT staffing marketplace.

Steve graduated from Texas A&M University in 1981 and began his IT career selling and supporting turnkey point-of-sale / inventory control systems to the Retail Hardware and Automotive Aftermarket industries for Triad Systems. He moved into the IBM Mainframe Systems Software marketplace in 1984, selling large scale productivity product solutions until 1990.

Since 1990, Steve has been involved in Management, Sales, Marketing and Strategic Business Development for several North Texas-based IT Consulting / Contracting firms, including Software Solutions, Inc., Technical Horizons, Inc. and Kelly IT Resources. Steve possesses an extremely in-depth knowledge and understanding of the staffing industry as it relates to both the IT marketplace and the technical issues driving our industry.

Steve and his family reside in Grapevine, TX, where he is on the Board of Directors of the Grapevine Convention and Visitors Bureau, an Officer and member of the Board of Directors for the Grapevine chapter of American Business Clubs (AMBUCS), and is a member of the D/FW chapter of the Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP). In his spare time he is an avid mountain biker, skier and backpacker.

Steve is highly committed to the service and support of his clients, with the willingness to “go the extra mile” to make sure their needs are satisfied.
Brad Seim

Brad Seim - Director of National Recruiting

Brad Seim is the Director of National Recruiting. Having started with ConsultNet in 2001, Brad has a vast understanding of the industry and continues to be recognized as a top producing recruiter for ConsultNet. Brad is excited to be implementing and overseeing the National Recruiting Division, another innovative and exciting opportunity for our clients to extend their partnership with ConsultNet. Brad is a graduate of the University of Montana with a BS in Business Marketing and an emphasis in Economics. He has lived in Utah for 10 years and enjoys skiing, sports and spending time with his wife and two sons.
Jeff McCrea

Jeff McCrea - Sales Manager, Colorado

Jeff McCrea joined ConsultNet in 2006 as an Account Manager. Today, Jeff currently manages the sales team for the Colorado branch, and is responsible for growing the branch’s market presence while maintaining his existing client relationships. Prior to joining ConsultNet, Jeff managed a Client Services department for a Denver, CO investment software company where he was responsible for all software training and support. He is a graduate of the University of Vermont where he earned a BS in Business Administration with a focus in Management Information Systems. Jeff has lived in Colorado since 2002 and when not working, enjoys spending time with his wife snowboarding, golfing, camping and hiking.
